I live in Victoria, Recently change my 90 gallon fish only tank into a reef tank. I been looking for a local forum for the last few months. Hi everyone, hope you enjoy your long weekend.

Ken, I don't recall any emails about playsand. Then again, my memory only works for 30 days. If it was before that, it's gone.
There are a few us us in Victoria; we'll have to meet up one of these days!

Sorry Ken, no playsand in Vic(or western canada). Only options other than aragonite are silica or dolomite. Wouldn't use either.
We may have some "real" sand coming to Victoria in the next little while.
I worked at Shaw a few years ago, when they started the @home stuff. The last month I worked there, I made $9,300, and that didn't stop me from quitting. I hated it . But, to each their own!
I'll let you know the next time we all go to hang out for coffee at the LFS...you can join us!
