wHy don't we have this in Vancouver?

AHHope 07-22-2010 02:41 AM

This is the most amazing food ive ever given my fish. I bought a matted filefish to try and clean up some of my aptasia and he started eating this the day i brought him home and he now fights my angels for it. Everyone needs to try it!!!

Coleus 07-22-2010 03:47 AM

all my fishes went crazy on this

Zoaelite 07-22-2010 04:04 AM

Not only fish but LPS love to munch on this stuff, my orange crush acan has permanently open feeding tentacles after repeated feedings. Mind you I need to feed at night other wise all my fish swarm the stuff.

I also get a very fast feeding response from all my scolys, chalices and acans.

anyone know of any lfs in the lower mainland that carry this?

meenamjah 07-22-2010 04:33 AM

how much is it for 8oz?

BlueTang<3 07-22-2010 04:36 AM

This stuff is awesome even finicky eaters devour this. All we ever feed now.

meenamjah 07-22-2010 04:38 AM

so how exactly do you work with it? break the frozen block into pieces to feed?

ElGuappo 07-22-2010 05:04 AM

i just SHAVE a piece off the end of the frozen portion right into the tank... it breaks up very quickly.

meenamjah 07-22-2010 05:07 AM

oh? nice... I've had to use a wrench to break off frozen mysis...
I guess I'll have to pick some up tomorrow... my clowns don't like anything I've got atm...

Zoaelite 07-22-2010 05:22 AM

Karate chop on the table :eyebrows:

muck 07-22-2010 05:26 AM

I usually just bite a piece off and throw it in the tank.

Just a little update:

We ordered this Plankton from Red Coral and still have a couple left in stock, we are very pleased with this food and do highly recommend this product to supplement all the other foods you feed!

Cheers!

O.C.

Coleus 08-11-2010 07:25 PM

I usually thaw it before serving it to my fishes, but looks like some of you have success with breaking a piece and throwing in the tank directly. I will try that out because that will save me some times.
