Purchase fish and coral over live webcam
'LIVEstock camera' maybe? I've set up a page on our website where online customers can view a video feed from a wireless camera (iPhone, actually). I think this will be useful for customers who would like to see what they're buying. You call us to buy a coral or fish, we show you what we have on the spot. :)

Great idea!! EXCEPT I GET NO VIDEO FEED
|
Im not getting the feed either

Sorry, I should have clarified. It's not a constant feed. It's something to be used on the fly, while on the phone with a customer. A constant feed would be very bad for my iPhone's battery life. :(

sounds like a great idea to me

I'd be happy to show you what we have (and we do have some very nice zoos right now). But the only way this live cam idea will work is over the phone. Sorry. |

i get an error with the feed still??
|
That's normal.
This is how it works: 1.Customer calls us to inquire about purchasing corals, fish, or inverts 2. I pull out my iPhone and start the video feed on the spot, while instructing the customer to view the live cam page on our website. 3. We discuss what the customer is looking for, and display what we have available. 4. Customer decides on purchases, if any, and we finish the shipping process. Hope that clears up any confusion. :) |
