ALL GONE Free Birdsnest Frags - Calgary NE
 

Kien was kind enough to give me a birdsnest colony in exchange for transporting a frag for him. :mrgreen: This birdsnest is WONDERFUL but has broken into a few pieces from its travels, rather fragile. While the idea of coral farming sounds exciting, I am not set up for it quite yet :wink:

This birdsnest is the very beautiful, slender style. Seems to have purpley / blue polyps.

I have about 7 or 8 pieces, PM me if you want to swing by and get a free frag!! The best piece is mine, of course, but all the other pieces are pretty big size!!

sigh... that wouldn't be very good as a first coral, would it?

I think it would be a good first coral, if your tank has good parameters. Birdsnest were some of my first corals, they are doing pretty good. Plus its free.

my pH was 7.8 last I checked... I don't know why it dropped so low (used to be 8.2), and I don't know how to get it up, but it hasn't been an issue as I have no corals yet. Could someone give some pointers on this?
