Snow

It will be a great summer if it doesn't snow.

I had 6" of snow on my truck this morning and had to shovel my vehicle out of the back lane. We did need the moisture but this is taking it to the extreme.
I also noticed the store power had gone out at some point but no casualties or problems. I hope everyone affected had the same positive results.

Isn't this just great :smow: . I've got 6' to 8' high snow(wet) drifts down my driveway this morning and of coarse I just took the chains off my tracker :thumb:. What are the roads like up there Kevin ?

Red Coral Aquariums 04-29-2010 07:25 PM

roads have melted off, it is actually warm out but windy.

FYI Calgary, you can keep the snow, we don't want it! So far it's just been raining lots in Edmonton.

Sorry to hear the power went out Kevin, glad everythings ok.

I think I actually got a little bit of a sunburn today while wandering around outside in my tee shirt. :twised:

Now if you moved your store south into Calgary you wouldn't have that problem...

No snow here, it is wonderful, sunny and 18c, just the right temps for golf.

Just remember, its calgary and our weather is messed up. Last year it snowed in june...

But I took advantage of the killer snow, hit up louise and the back bowls had AWESOME powder. Front side... not so great.

It's only April still ... I love how people are always "Oh! Spring is here!" when the weather is nice in March and April and I have to say "Oh, apparently you haven't heard of something I like to call ... THE MONTH OF MAY."

Sorry guys, mountain climate rules apply here. The weather forecast for here is "Today the temperature is <x> and the conditions are <y> ... and ... it might snow tomorrow." It's as true on July 15 as it is on January 15. It can snow tomorrow ... it can ALWAYS snow tomorrow.

I do have a bad feeling we're in for a dry summer this year. I hope I'm wrong. Water rationing would suck.

I have never really liked the front side of LL. Back side is the only place to shred
