I love the tank but I'm only 16 and living in toronto ... sory :(

Ryan 04-27-2010 06:29 AM

Dude not really that low. They are $1600 down here in Lethbridge.

BlueWorldAquatic 04-27-2010 12:48 PM

Ryan, that's a 250. If they were 1600, I'd drive to Lethbridge personally to buy a few.

Rip: Is it the new version with moonlights?

Ken

You don't need to drive to Lethbridge.
They are $1600 at Pisces in Calgary.

TAB 04-27-2010 03:03 PM

$1600 out here in BC too.

Chaloupa 04-27-2010 03:22 PM

I'd love to know where to get them for $1600.00 if they're the 250 not the 130...this price is fantastic! Bump for what I consider a good deal!

BlueWorldAquatic 04-27-2010 03:24 PM

That's Tank & Stand? if it is they are selling it a cost. Most stores will list it as a "KIT", but that doesn't include the stand price.

Then it didn't sell for 1600... LIAR!!!!!

Ken

Ryan 04-27-2010 07:11 PM

Lasttime I checked my math $1800-$200 is $1600

BlueWorldAquatic 04-27-2010 07:16 PM

But the gift certificate was free if they bought the tank.

Not meaning to hijack this thread, if Rip doesn't sell it by next week I may have to drive to Calgary to get it.

Ken

Ryan 04-27-2010 07:40 PM

Ryan: For the future please have some courtesy and pm the person on pricing. You don't need to come onto someone's sale thread and bash them. It's not like I'm here to rip anyone off. I paid nearly $1900 for the setup in Calgary (Not Lethbridge). There could be a lot of different economic factors as to why certain stores are selling them cheaper than others: low monthly sales? overstock and need to make room for newer inventory? Possibly a store with strong buying power and is able to sell them at a lower price. Who knows? So just something to keep in mind. Thank you.

Ryan 04-28-2010 08:35 PM

LOL your a funny guy with that last post then feeling the need to post it publically. Little hypocritical dont you think.

Lethbridge is 10% the size of calgary and the shop that had them for that price is a mom and pop shop so no there in very little buying power. Just good prices.

Coleus 04-28-2010 08:45 PM

the tank is sold why still argue about it. Mod should close this thread

dankent 04-28-2010 10:43 PM

They are selling for much less as there are alot of heating issues with the tank, ammong the poor quality compnents used. As much as i love the AIO RSM setup for the looks only .. there isnt a peice in it that isnt screaming Upgrade me !!!

reason i responded to this ... is not that .. but for the fact that this is the classifieds .. if someone wants to sell something for a price its there choice ... you want it cheeper ... send a pm with an offer or STFU ... lol People who research learn the going rates for things and can choose to bid or not .. no need to bash the seller for his selling price .... maybe it has sentimental value to him ... maybe not.

cchomistek 04-28-2010 11:42 PM

Never a good thing to sell below cost... And if all other stores can't get it in any cheaper than that, I would assume it is below cost. Unless it is a newer model that is now offered cheaper. Also RIPTANK I wouldn't worry to much about the banter you are able to sell for whatever you feel is a fair price!!
