WTB: (Calgary) Beginner Corals
Hi, I am looking for some small beginner type corals for my 12g nano cube. I have been to all the shops in town to see what they have and am not very impressed.
Not looking to spend $50+ on something I am not sure I can keep alive lol! I am a noob at salt water, have had my tank cycled and running for 2 months, have a few snails and 2 pep. shrimps. I would consider the tank high flow. Stock 2x24w 50/50 pc lighting. Let me know what you have! |
I have a colt coral forest I need to clear cut and you are welcome to as much as you like.

Hi I have xenia-free.
|
watch what you put in, some soft corals grow quickly and take over tanks. Look into hammer, torch, ricordia's and zoa's
|
I wouldn't suggest Hammer and Torch as a Beginner Coral for 12 gal nano cube.
|
I would suggest zoas, Hammer and Frog spawn they all seem to be bullet proof even GSP is a good starter put it in and it will grow easy to prune and you can help some one else out and pass it on. Yellow polups are a good one also.

I have some GSP you can have. Swap me for an equal sized live rock and it's all yours.
