That's AWESOME!

Lance 03-24-2010 05:05 PM

Not bad for 6 1/2 months Myka. Nice colouring too!

christyf5 03-24-2010 05:06 PM

Nice! So far mine is just all pink. Like the other 3 I have

Myka 03-25-2010 02:33 AM

Thanks guys (and gal)! :) The color is better now than it has ever been. The polyps are like a neon pastel blue, but I can't get my camera to pick it up. I have been changing my Zeo dosing a lot in the last 6 months to find the happy spot, plus I stopped dosing for awhile after Christmas when my tank sitter started farming cyano in my tank. My corals really lighten up to pastel colors if I don't dose Zeo because my nutrients are uber low (and I don't even use the Zeo rocks).

Nice growth pictures! Remember the two candycane/trumpet coral frags you gave me last time I saw you (10 months ago? 4 - 6 heads) .. They're now 40+ heads each ;) the torch coral = monstersized colony now.

I just added today's picture to the sequence. Now 10 months in my tank. Definitely the fastest growing SPS coral I have.

Jason McK 07-02-2010 09:41 PM

WOW looks Great!!!

christyf5 07-02-2010 09:50 PM

Wow thats awesome, its a great looking coral, mine just stayed solid pink and hardly grew at all. You must have the magic touch!

Aquattro 07-02-2010 10:04 PM

Myka 07-02-2010 10:58 PM

Haha Brad! Well it will make you feel better if you read the update I just put in my tank journal, and you will find out all the troubles I have had in the last 6 months.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Now, I just need it to color up more! :D

New pic added. 14 1/2 months now.

lastlight 11-18-2010 08:48 PM

Very nice! Almost looks like a few totally different corals through that timespan there. Mine is the tiniest little nub I can't wait till it grows a few branches at least.

Myka 09-12-2011 05:10 PM

Time for a new pic. "Frag" is at 23 months now. :)

Delphinus 09-12-2011 06:44 PM
