60 gallon cube
Hi friends.
I didn't waste much time after the move back east to fire up a new one. I was lucky enough to find a 24x24x24 cube tank, with a 30 gallon acrylic sump, beautiful cherry finished stand & canopy 250w mh light w/ballast and a strip of LED moonlights for $300! here are just a few pictures i snapped. i have added alot more, will try and get some more soon *Not totally sure how to get the full pics, not the thumbnails off of flickr* http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2597/...24d11dfe_m.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2785/...53a3e74f_m.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4072/...215f30b5_m.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4048/...7885c44a_m.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4045/...569a292b_m.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2708/...fb94aacc_m.jpg |

Think it's a scooter blenny?
|

Looking good, but your yellow tang needs to gain some serious weight.

It does not look at all like my new red scooter blenny....I wish. Hey Ken, I am curious to know what he is as well...I need a fish like that too. |
Yah just a red dragonette.
He lifts his dorsal fin like that every once and a while, i was lucky to get that shot Yah the yellow tang isnt adjusting very well. He isnt eating mysis, flake or nori. Ive seen him eat pellets, and graze on algae in the tank |
lookin good Ken!.....have you tried the garlic soaking your foods?.....how bout nori?......I would make nori available to him full time until he settles in:wink:

He is a Red Scooter... It's Just the way the picture was taken that makes him look so funky  Nice fish Ken! Tank is looking sweet. I wish I could find a crazy deal like that around here! |

There indeed is some sweet stuff there.....looks like you need to become a member of both ZA and CA(when your ready for that first step that is:mrgreen:)

First step is admitting i have a problem, right? |
zoa's closed again, lost a clam this morning
Im assuming its my kH again, i tested last night and it dropped down to 8, and this morning i came down to find one of my clams had melted away.
ALL my zoa's are closed up this time! so frustrating. Im dosing with ionic formula, and i just cant keep my kH up. Best bet for raising it without raising my pH (8.2) anymore. |
