kien 03-12-2010 04:01 AM

I have always wanted a seal!! But I think you need at least a 10' tank.. maybe.

Delphinus 03-12-2010 05:12 AM

The Codfather 03-12-2010 05:16 AM

Japanese dragon I think.

Delphinus 03-12-2010 05:22 AM

Ok! I agree, that would be one cool eel!!! Too bad I'm down here on Cowtown and can't sneak a peek at lunchtime!!!

outacontrol 03-12-2010 05:32 AM

Yeah it is a Japanese Dragon, SO COOL, and very affordable

Zoaelite 03-12-2010 05:39 AM

Just like skipping the 4 foot upgrade instead of a seal you should just buy a walrus..

uhhhh, you can.... at ocean city. just keep an eye on your feet and you will find it.

Delphinus 03-12-2010 06:23 AM

Yeah, they usually have some neat eels in that tank too.

I just wish I could see them all.

little ocean as a snowflake one not that expensive

RIPTANK 03-15-2010 07:22 PM

Don't know if they have any in Edmonton but Big Al's in Calgary just got some ribbon eels in! Very cool. But be warned they're not the easiest to keep alive and pricey too. I'd recommend getting a snowflake eel but make sure to have a cover on your tank or you'll end up with unagi on the floor one morning!

Ocean City has an eel in their shop. However, I can't recall what kind it is, but is a very nice looking eel. It's quite large as well. I've also seen one or two at Big Al's on 32nd Ave. Both are in Calgary though if you're willing to make the trip!

findingnemo1 03-16-2010 02:54 AM

Both actually landed very we'll and i know the black ribbon was eating live before i left. I have been gone for a few days so i am not sure if the other one is eating as off yet. They are pretty though.
I wish i had room for one:(
