HUGE thank you to Ken and Shannon! It was my first time in the shop today, and what a great experience! Ken was awesome at helping me find a new bulb for my tank and Shannon managed to help me get a zoa frag I was drooling over! Everyone was so helpful and great to deal with from a second I stepped in the door! Clean tanks, great selection of fish and corals! I will be returning many times over!!!

I know I know... living so close you'd think i would have been there a LONG time ago!!! it's amazing.. but fish stores get me introuble!!! i am lucky i left with a bulb and a picked out frag! I can see myself spending a lot of time there! i might as well get a job there! lol! jk! First fish store in years that i actually want to go to!

I'm shocked it's your first time also! I'm always disappointed that everything I want at BWA is always sold it seems. :(

Bean: Ahhh, nice to put the face to the name. Hope the bulb worked out for you. I know the frag you were looking at, Shannon knew it was from my private collection, but customers come first.

Crytone: Just ask, I will bring anything you want and hold it until you get a chance to choose.

Just stuff that I have been putting away for Rachel's tank. I'm awaiting the REAL interesting stuff this upcoming week.

Japanese Deep Water Zoos coming very soon too. Got a guy that has some realy healthy specimans.

That's what I was thinking, Blue world is great I'm surprised there's people in Edmonton that haven't checked it out yet.

I'm with you, I must go in at the wrong times or I don't pay enough attention, I never see the things people are posting pics of. I'll have to keep trying..lol

I think my problem is I get there AFTER Laurie has been there.

I really have to check this place out. Usually I'm stuck going to another store just because I'm north of Edmonton..and I'm not impressed with the service of late.

The trip across the river is definately worth it, not much of anything worth while north of the river.

Can't get better than Blue World for anything. Great store, great people! I come in from Camrose specifically to go there.

Hahaha, I some how missed Robb's comment. You two are too funny!! Did you see the Flying Gurnard they got in? VERY COOL fish. They also had baby cuttlefish hatch when I was there yesterday, sooo cute and tiny.

If I go over there from Bon Accord you can do it from Morinville :razz::lol:

No I haven't seen it, however I see a trip in my near future to go check it out :biggrin:

love the place....dont much go anywhere else.. :) Shannon has been awesome helpin us find items for our tank. always there to point ya in a good direction of tank balance.


been watching the forums for a little while, new guy here. figured this was a good place to drop a first post.. :)

they deserve it.

we had a couple of gorgeous clowns that just didnt want to go to our BTA. Shannon traded us our clowns for clowns she knew to host other Anem,s. worked great... :)

i have the biggest smile on my face right now... and Ken knows why!!! lol! I can't wait for two weeks (payday) lol!
