Show Me Your Wrasse!
Be it BIG or be it small; I wanna see your wrasse!
Here's mine: Lunare Wrasse http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG_0661.jpg Harlequin Tuskfish http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...a/IMG_0572.jpg Ruby Headed Fairy Wrasse (sorry for the crappy pic, apparently this is the only shot I have of this fish) http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...9/IMG_3792.jpg |
I like this game... I need more wrasses!
You Lunar is AWESOME!! He's in your reef? My Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...w/IMG_0406.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...w/IMG_0362.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...w/IMG_0285.jpg I'm not on my speaking or picture terms with my 6line since I think he scared my McCoskers right out of the tank.. I never even got a chance to get a picture of my McCoskers! |

Checkerboard wrasse

Nice Checkerboard Laurie.
How big is your Lunare? And how is it for aggression? Apparently, they can get quite nasty when they get to a certain size. Mine is about 6" (no wise-cracks people), and is starting to get a little belligerent with some of the smaller fishes. If the Tuskfish didn't keep him in his place I'm sure he'd be the terror of the tank. Hopefully he doesn't get any worse as he grows. |
Love this thread Lance! I have a thing for wrasses!!

I'd love more wrasses but my lunare would pick on any that were big enough for the grouper not to eat! and my reef tank already has a fair amount of fish and a devil damsel that likes to chase wrasses :twised: |

Romboid FTW... Soo nice! |
Do different species of wrasse's live well together in the same tank? Say like some tangs do. Ive only ever owned a six line, and he was a little dink. Would be nice to get a few of the nice colourful ones.
|
Well thats decided it. As soon as I'm back from the States I'm going to :grab: me a McCoskers.

If I wasn't so lazy I'd graph the perversion level trend around here. Rest assured it's a steep muthafraggin' slope!
