Paul, and the rest of us were at the new store until almost 1am last night and Paul has done a lot of late nights lately. I am sure he will get the list up shortly!

OceanicCorals-Ian- 02-02-2010 04:55 AM

Hello,

Sorry I've been a bit absent replying to PM's and posts. I am under the gun to have the store up and running by the scheduled date and it is close.

@Rick, the fish have arrived and there are some very nice fish. I am quarintining them and prefer to wait till this weekend to post what's available.
Sorry, but I did not get any frogfish or anglers.

@Shelley, got some new corals coming in for the Grand Opening sale as well as new corals waiting to recover from being fragged. The Grand Opening will be a great time to use your GC as I'll have lots more inventory and selection then.

Sorry everyone for not being on here as often as I usually am. I'm just trying to get the store accomplished before Feb 14th.

Thanks for your understanding and I'll post pics and list ASAP.

Paul

Yes, the Anthias are for sale $275.00, they are bigger than the palm of your hand from wrist to fingers and fat too. :surprise:

OceanicCorals-Ian- 02-09-2010 10:19 PM

Here are some other really cool little gems we will be offering!
Geometric Pygmy Hawk

Rarely available to aquarium hobbyists, the Plectranthias inermis, or Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish is colorful and animated. Scientifically, it is a closer relative to Anthias and Groupers than Hawkfish, but is associated with Hawks because of its overall shape and behavior. Though it will not eat corals, it may be seen resting on and moving from perch to perch. There is a perceived benefit to its perching and swimming over corals as it is thought to help facilitate water movement among the coral heads. It may bother extremely small shrimp and snails, so it should be introduced to a reef aquarium with caution. It will typically tolerate other Hawkfish, but should be kept away from other large Hawkfish as the Geometric Pygmy Hawk only grows to about 2" in length. Because of its size, it is a perfect fish for Nano aquariums.

When I was at the facility one was eating, Paul might be able to comment on the other one when he gets a chance.

Am I correct in assuming our gift certs are good for all livestock (fish, inverts and coral)? Anything but drygoods?

You bet!

Gooly001 02-10-2010 01:53 AM

Hey Shelley,

The Barbonis are huge and eating like they've been starved for weeks. They aren't though because we feed them daily.

One is a lot shyer then the other so if you want one, let me know which one you want. Greedy or Bashful.

Thanks,

Paul

These guys are beautiful.. but always look so grumpy. I shall call him Mr. Grumpy! How many incheswould you say he is? I'm not very good at converting Palm-to-finger into metric, sorry :-(

OceanicCorals-Ian- 02-11-2010 04:19 AM

Without taking an official measurement, if my memory serves me correctly I would say they are at least 4-5" in length. Paul may correct me if I am out on my eyeballing skills.
