Anyone interested in a group purchase of the Vortech pumps?

what time frame are you looking at?One week , one month? Would be interested in 2 mp20 or mp10 depending on the price.:lol:

If enough people are interested I would put in the order within the next week or so, they would take about a week to arrive. I am working with the sales rep for Canada on pricing but it does depend on whether we can obtain the multi-unit ordering discount.

I'd be interested in 1 MP-40w, but again, would need to see the pricing. I know a place in the States with them for $375 now, so the GB price would have to be pretty good.

I'd be interested in 4 mp10s, like above depends on price our dollars almost on par so orderin from the us is pretty cheap right now

I am working on pricing this morning, not sure if we can match $375.00 as the states does not have to deal with brokerage fees and high shipping rates, we don't really want to create a group giveaway but I will try and do the best we can..

People on here need to realize this as well. If you (private hobbiest) order them out of the states they will also be subjected to Brokerage fees, duty, exchange and taxes. Suddenly that $375 pump is adding up to $425-$450. For the extra $25 or $50 why not just suuport one of the local guys who is supporting you canadian marine forum?

if you can find somebody local who sell them in your price range 425-450 that would be really great, unfortunately all local stores have them priced around 600 ....... its interesting to see how many things have bigger value(price) here in Canada then in other countries, that must be some magic or happy salesman ......

Umm no they are not 600 they are $500. Atleast they are in calgary and the Reef Shoppe has them for 475 I beleive.

stores who actually have them in stock price them 599 + gst (AI), also check if store who list them with this price (475) have them in stock

I just talked to the reef shoppe yesterday they have them in Stock and RC has them in stock for $500. Do some shopping around and you will see $600 is over priced about $100.

then if that's true, no more talking and let's go shopping ;)

As much as we are happy that you were able to find the pumps cheaper, the point of this thread is to see if people would like to take advantage of some cheaper prices that we are offering. We are a Canadian local Canreef supporting vendor with the availability to warranty defective items and deal with any issues that arise unlike an **** vendor.

Thanks for your understanding for not posting subjects like "I got my pump the cheapest" etc.

So what's the deadline on this? I'm real happy with the pricing myself.

We would need at least 8 pumps to get the order going, all I need is confirmations and deposits for each person for their order. I will end this by Sunday if we don't get the minimum.

Prices do not include shipping or applicable taxes. Shipping should be pretty reasonable considering the low weight.................
