anyone seen black clownfish ?
 

just wondering if anyone seen any black percs around town ?

I have been looking for a few weeks now, to no luck. Let me know if you happen to find any and I will do the same.

haha, they are really sweet fish eh.

I was at Golds on Monday and they had a single one one there.
It was 95% black except for the front 1/4 of the first orange band still showed some orange left.

Any luck on this search?

Just got in 8 or 9 yesterday.

Gonna start pairing them up today.

i was around to the shops here in calgary and only seen a pair at big als, in their display tank.

i checked golds and didnt see the lone clown.

I know this thread is a month or so old, but Red Coral has/had some in a couple days ago.. Worth giving a call.

The OP said black percs... these are MUCH less common that black occelaris. I dont know how the pattern progresses on black percs but black occelaris the nose goes black last, and they get darker as they mature. I bought two with lightly tinted noses, and now they are both jet-black. I have occelaris. These are the ones you will usually see in stores. Just the heads up - incase you are talking specifically black percs rather than occelaris.

There is no black percula. There is an onyx percula, but it is not all black. All fish labelled as black percula are black ocellaris. All black ocellaris start out with a brown face.

When u coming to Calgary next? I could use a pair of your Black Ocellaris.

I have an onyx, just got him from Aquarium Illusions and they also have black ocellaris.

I probably won't be coming to Calgary till spring
