Gotta be quick! FS- huge SPS colonies
 

I will be driving from Winnipeg Manitoba to Calgary, arriving sometime Friday Sep 25th. I will be on a tight schedule, so you would have to meet me to pick-up. It might even work meeting someone in Regina or Swift current or Medicine Hat etc, so long as you have flexibility in your schedule.

The two pieces I have are very large yellow stage w/ green polyp acros colonies.

My pic skills suck, but this colony has been growing good for quite a few years with me. I will be moving so I am selling off my tank.:sad:

The large colony is about 8x10x10 inches, the smaller one is about 10x8x8 inches. Yes these are truly big pieces.

The large on is $175 and small one is $140 OBO. I am 100% confident they are worth much much more, but it is sometimes hard to sell big colonies (as people want to grow there own) at least here in Winnipeg.

I also have a variety of pieces of pink Chalice and purple chalice, purple milli, as well as some orange cap and other assorted stuff, if somebody want to work out a package deal.

pm for more info. I have a large temp controlled cooler I have used to transport frags and colonies in the past with great success. I even have a power head in there!

Payment will be via PP for 50%, and the remaining 50% upon delivery. I can't stress enough that the buyer has to be flexible with their time to pick up on Friday, or else it just won't work.

I hope some of these pieces can find a nice home.:biggrin:

I can definetly inform everyone on the great transporting he does. I got some stuff a couple yrs back from him and it was Dec or Jan i think and very cold and everything arrived healthy,happy and incredibly worth every penny:)

We will probably be through there around 3pm on Friday. If you can meet us on the hwy then we can do it. But I will not have extra time to wait.

I have sold most everything, except the purple milli and the BIG YELLOW STAGS.

If anyone wants it, or even wants a decent size piece of it, let me know, I am sure we can work out a deal.

I need to shut down my tank soon, I don't understand why people aren't jumping all over this.:question: I think they are gorgeous pieces. Maybe beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Fish will be for sale in about 1 month or so. Too hard to catch right now.

I sold almost all of my big pieces. Thanks to all who coordinated to make things works smoothly.

I hope you guys realize just how good of a deal you missed out on for the yellow stag.

I sold the smaller one to Doug, and it didn't quite fit into an IO bucket (160gallon) it broke in a couple of spots to fit.

The bigger one won't even fit in one of those pails! And it is still available. Still two purple milli as well.

Thanks for the nice coral Ben. If you think it was trouble getting it into the pail, you should have seen the reconstruction going on here, so it would fit into my 30g cube. :lol:

Its now the center piece, taking up the complete center of the tank.

I have a few pieces of monti cap left. I also have one big piece of purple chalice left, the rest are smaller.

Sure. the thing is I have never shipped stuff before. if you want to talk me through it, it would be fine. I have a shipping container (from a J&L order), but no bags big enough. I suppose I could line it in a few garbage bags, but it kinda makes me nervous.

What size are the Monti Caps? Which colors are left? Prices (inc Chalice)?

Try going to an LFS that carries big fw fish like Plecos, Cichlids, that sort of thing...they will often have huge fish bags that are super thick too.

I have one piece of cap that is maybe 8 x4 x4 and then one that is 6 x 6 x 6, I would want about $65 for one. I have smaller, and they would be less.

I have big piece of purple chalice left about 5 x 8 and it would be $70, then I have some smaller pink and purple pieces left.

That makes sense. I know where to go for them, now that you mentioned it.

Are you thinking air freight, or the bus?

Could you post a pic of the bigger caps? If I buy a cap, I will take the purple Chalice too. Two pieces would make the shipping worthwhile. I need some calcium and magnesium too. :D

It is not sold yet. Can you research the bus sched from Winnipeg to where you are and see if you think it will work. It still makes me a bit nervous, as I have never done it before. I heard one can buy those heat packs for it.

Mine is currently residing in Mikes 150g, for various reasons. It looks good and when he gets home this weekend, perhaps we can take a pic for you and post it on his tank thread.

I have one really nice piece of cap, beautifully formed as well. I will get a pic for you (just been so busy lately). It is attached to a HUGE piece of rock, but I will see if it will come off.

Cap is destroyed. I tried to get it off with my reef crowbar, broke into 9 pieces.:sad:
