Man a couple of months ago I'd have opened a restaurant with my algae. Too bad my yellow tang ate me out of business.

LOL odds are no. Typically I request a photo of the winners choice. It does not have to be the winning pic

Does it have to be in your tank?

Since we only have 1 entry so far, post it. But it must be a photo you have taken. 100% taken by you

What seems to be the issue?

We're not sure if this qualifies, but this is one of our tigertails in some red macro algae. (It's still algae!!). They love the stuff.

Alright then, this is my shot of a macro called Enteromorpha, which showed up and is now gone from my tank. This is one of the pioneering species that grows in disturbed areas. This was the only large macro that grew on the rock, most of it is turfy reddish stuff and greenish stuff, and I had Bryopsis prior to this.

I cannot upload any pictures from my actual camera, ones from my crappy phone that I email to myself upload fine, but any from a camera are too large and I cannot figure out how to "shrink" them.

fdiddy 08-12-2009 10:27 PM

try opening them up in paint, hit ctrl+w and shrink the actual size of the image.

Jason McK 08-13-2009 12:09 AM

You can also upload them to Photobucket and resize them using the tools there
