Well look what I found.
 

For the past few months I have noticed some acro damage at night. I had no idea what it was. Until I saw this.!!!!!!!!! I put the trap in and caught him in a few hours

I thought he might be the cause. but while I had him in custody I noticed more vandalism.

I have a feeling I have one of his friends in my 120 - I keep seeing Giant molted crab claws (like 1/2"+)

My wife's porcupine puffer would love a lovely crab dinner:biggrin:

I couldn't belive how big she was. All the hours I have spent looking at my tank and I didnt see it sooner.

I got the trap from Ocean Aquatics. It should be able to catch a lobster

I used PE mysis shrimp.

Wow crazy!! I had one of those in my tank a few years ago. Scared the crap out of me when I saw this giant claw one day. Turned out he wasn't the one doing the damage either :neutral:

It doesn’t look like an acro-crab to me.
The fact that you managed catch it using meaty food re assures it.
Don’t you think?

No, I knew it wasn't an acro crab. But I thought he might be going after some of my good acro crabs or fish. It does have the claws to do alot of damage.
