Always sad no matter what.......no judging who someone is or was we all face the same
in the end. |
A great talent lost.....troubled and strange certainly, but still gifted
|
Never was a big fan but cant deny the fact that he had talent......perhaps it the cynic in me... but am I the only one wondering if perhaps he faked his heart attack to sneek away to sweden to complete his transformation to a white woman.

Extremely sad how a pedophile took first spot over someone who battled cancer far longer than she had too...

Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother, gave a press conference in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon. He said that his brother died at 2:26 p.m. local time.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/...n5115503.shtml He was unresponsive when paramedics arrived at 12:30 where he was unreponsive and non-breathing. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/...n5114139.shtml |
Couldn't agree more, Deb.

Not sure if being odd makes a person a pedophile.

He was never convicted, and they dragged him over the coles on the second go round. |

He was never convicted. I wouldn't deny he had an unhealthy relationship with children (he didn't really), I think everyone knows that but that doesn't make someone a pedophile. People close to him had a few theories, one, he never had a childhood and always tried to get it back and experience being a child as he grew older. Someone else close to him said children were the only people he felt didn't want or demand something from him, they were not trying to use him to make themselves rich. He was surrounded by people who used and used and used him. He lived an extremely tormented life that I don't think anyone else could ever imagine. He was very troubled and had so many issues but he was also a genius and did a lot for not only music but the world. He was the first to start the "we are the world" movement which is so big now. Bono gets a lot of credit now but MJ started it all. Anyways, sad, sad day and it sucks that even in death people have no respect for him...why would it change now?!? One of the most disrespectful comments EVER is that "gone to Sweden to..." comment...jeez, have at least a little class. |
I agree. He was acquitted. Let the guy have his dignity.

I just think it's disappointing that everywhere I turn I have to hear about his passing. Is it really a huge surprise? Whatever his issues, whatever the reasons, his body was punished well beyond the thresholds of average tolerances. I'm sure if you are fan that this news is indeed sad, for me, I wasn't, and I was more a fan of FF so indeed just to see news of her passing is as a footnote in the news is the more sad thing IMHO. It will be just like Anna Nicole Smith all over again, I'm turning my TV off for the next 3 months. I'm sorry he's gone but if he's gone he's gone, let him be. But no, in this celebrity obsessed culture, this will be front and centre for a good while to come.
|
It is also sad about Farrah Fawcett as well, sadder yet that people out there go to such lengths to publish private details in celebrities lives. I am referring to the people who could not keep it quiet about the return of the cancer, I think I remember hearing it was someone from the hospital.

Do we honestly know he was a pedophile? Are we judging because what the media says, or a family that could well be motivated by money? I was not there and I will not judge. i think we all have been subjected to rumors...
MJ was a huge part of my youth. I recall the day the video for Thriller came out, and the first time he did the moon walk. I was one of those kids that tried to do it, as well as the toe stand. He was a visionary for music and performances. It was sad to watch him change how he looked, he must have really hated himself. It is very sad Farah Facett passed away as well. Remember when princess Diana died, and Mother Theresa passed at the same time... her death was over shadowed by Diana's passing as well. I remember when I was a kid Farah Facett was very famous an we had he shampoo... it is sad she passed away battling cancer, but she was not an icon in my childhood. Micheal Jackson was. His death hit home since I had his posters in my room, and listened to his tape (wow before CDs), and idolized him. He paved the way for what music is today... |
