Good way to catch Yellow Watchman goby?
So, I put the Yellow Watchman Gobiy in my allready established tank, till the 150 is set up. Well, Its time. But now I need to coax him out. I acctually thoughht he had passed. Havnt seen sight in over a month. Saw him today. But no way will he poke his head out.
What's a good way to catch him? And any tips for catching a large Yellow Tang? |
sorry to say but its near imposible to catch the goby, last time i had to catch mine i had to remove the rocks
|
Only way I could catch them was to clear out most of my rock or enjoy a great game
of are you smarter than your fish!! he-he and when it continues for many hours you loose btw. |

On a side note I believe removal of a lot of rock may be the only way. Although I realize this will probably only happen after about 2 hours of desperately trying to catch the little guy without removing the rock  |
Oh, I know it was a sarcastic. I was more referring to reading the article
And I think the little guy will just stay in the 45g :D |

One more tank set up is all good  |
You could always get a second, my two tanks are side by side and for some reason my bicolor blenny and lawn mower blenny (which are in different tanks) are always closest together staring at each other through the glass.

Yes was sarcasm, i also wanted to inform everyone about that article i bookmarked ages ago and this was a good time to share.
If anyone thought i really meant go buy some deadly illegal poison to use in his fish tank your mistaken. You cannot buy this on the hobbiest level and who would consider doing it after reading the article. I would try a fish trap, for a serious attempt to catch him. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...m?pcatid=14700 |
