Ampmaster 3000 pump for sale
 

I have an Ampmaster 3000 for sale. I've never used it. I bought it used for $150 plus shipping and was going to use it on my tank, but I decided not to (not enough head pressure to run everything I'm going to run). Supposed to be really great on power. $125. Looks to be in excellent shape. I have not even plugged it in cause I know that running a pump dry is terrible for pumps. Was working great on the person's system that I bought it from. I just bought brand new split ring unions specific to this pump so there won't be any plumbing to cut etc.

and I JUST got a new seal for mine that cost more than that.... To bad

Really? Seals are that expensive? Anyway, the pump is right now on hold and to be picked up tomorrow. If it doesn't sell, I will bump that post. Thanks everyone.

I know this is an old post, I was just doing a search on the Ampmaster 3000 as Fragzilla in Calgary was looking for a return pump. This pump works (worked) really well on my 120 corner tank. Anyway, I got the bearings in the motor and the mechanical seal done in my pump back in Dec for $100 at D.V. Electric Motors.
Wow, is 125 buck from the manufacturer and is it the upgaded seal?

I have no idea Keith (right?). I never did use this pump on my system. Anyway, it was one of the best pumps back then.
