I'd like to know who your girlfriend has been dating.

Flash 05-25-2009 03:19 AM

BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAA!!! lol

cool looking though... i mean the actual thing.. not it being a hungry penis! lol

Myka 05-25-2009 03:39 AM

Looks a lot like a self-reproduced sun polyp. Not really sure though...I'd put it in the tank, and see what happens.

Leah 05-25-2009 03:52 AM

Very cool, whatever the thingy is?!

BlueAbyss 05-25-2009 05:17 AM

Hmm I would almost suspect some sort of pest anemone, but 'pest' anemones aren't generally colorful like that.

golf nut 05-25-2009 05:37 AM

Looks too much like Mojano, I would wait for a better answer before putting it in the main tank.

Drock169 05-25-2009 05:55 AM

Because you where able to remove it from the rock easily i'm assuming there is no hard skeleton, therefore assuming its an anemone. But i'm not sure which type, doesnt look like a majano, but then there is quite a few different types of majano's.

Eyford01 05-25-2009 06:19 AM

Ok now I have a lil more time to give a bit of info: had a 15g that the nem was originally placed in on the sand attached to a small rock, it proceeded to wedge itself under the rock for a couple days then hid under my magnetic algae scraper (probably didn't enjoy the ride...) then found it in the top corner hiding under the black plastic trim, managed to poke it off with a chopstick when I transferred everything to the 55g living in a jar since but anyways no skeleton moves around likes eating cooked shrimp scared of the light... Vampire nem?

golf nut 05-25-2009 12:51 PM

Typically Mojanos like the light, that's how I persuade them to move.

you got some other issues at stake man

Myka 05-26-2009 05:58 AM

I highly doubt it's a Majano because the foot isn't even close. That's why I would put it in the tank. If you don't want to, send it to me! I will try it out.

Eyford01 05-27-2009 08:41 AM

I think I'll stick him in the tank when I get home, i'm just hoping he doesn't disappear, he's cool looking and I like feeding it
Thanks for the reply all!
And keep tuned now I have my whatsit dealt with I also have a "whosit" and a "huh" with pics coming soon, thanks again
Greg
