Not really a cartoon in the truest sense of the word, but Robot Chicken.

Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park.

Treebeard 05-23-2009 06:15 PM

Pinky and the Brain!

BlueAbyss 05-23-2009 06:57 PM

Pretty much everything already mentioned, and then add Drawn Together, and Animaniacs, and maybe (if I'm feeling frisky) Ren and Stimpy.

whatcaneyedo 05-23-2009 08:42 PM

Hayao Miyazaki makes my favourite cartoon movies.

Laputa - Castles in the Sky, Spirited Away, My Good Neighbor Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, etc.

I also love Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille a lot.

As for cartoon TV series...

The Simpsons (of course), Death Note was cool & for some reason I haven't figured out yet, I got into Initial D.

Cartoons from when I was a kid...

Mysterious Cities of Gold, Battle of the Planets, Dungeons & Dragons, Captain Caveman, (and for anyone who grew up in the UK) Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, 80 Days Around the World with Willy Fog, Dogtanian, the list is endless!

.

Oh man yes, classic Looney tunes. Wile E Coyote, Sylvester the Cat, Elmer, The Rooster.. forgot his name with the dog & the little chicken hawk...

Edit, come to think of it, if you go to the Google main page and select Language Tools, there's actually an Elmer Fudd option... hilawious.

bullit67 05-24-2009 02:47 PM

I cant believe only one person has mentioned Family Guy It is by far the best animated show going the writing is edgy and off the wall at the same time. They push the limits of the sensors every episode. gigty gigity

Ha ha, yes. If you like that, check the rest of the list, there are a few other gems in there. Bork, bork, bork for all you Muppets Swedish Chef fans. Klingon even, for the trekkies.

bignose 05-24-2009 05:43 PM

+1 on the Hayao Miyazaki movies. They are some of the best quality cartoons. Castle in the Sky and Howls Moving Castle are my favorite Ghibli movies.
