t5-blubs 39wt 2 weeks early, calgary
I am going to be changing out my t5 again, the change out time was to be june 6th. but i am thinking on doing this earlier by 2weeks, to see if there is a difference, i would love to try the 8 week approach by KZ, but going to try 2.5 this interval and see what happens.
i have forgot who wanted the blubs, first time around. so they are up for grabs. i will have 6 Kz fiji purple 39wt used for 2.5 months. and 6 Kz new gens, 39wt used for 2.5 months. 5.00 bucks each. pm if you are intrested. |
Man, why can't they be 48"???? What a deal!
|
Why can't you be in Vancouver! I'd grab them for sure.
I've been letting mine go for about 10 months. Although I have noticed things perk up a bit as soon as I change bulbs. |
You replace your t-5s every 2.5 months? Aren't they like $30 ea? I guess I won't complain about the cost of replacing metal halides anymore

yes, last time was 3months, this time is 2.5 months, KZ changes then every 8 weeks.

if deal falls through, then next in line will be contacted. thanks guys. |

Besides, have you seen his tank? Something is working! :D |
To each his or her own.
please no debate on this thread. thanks. |
There's not much to debate. Really...the more often you change the bulbs the more consistent the spectrum and intensity will be, and we all know how important consistency is. I wonder though, would it be even more beneficial to change out 50% of the bulbs every 6 weeks (each bulb still runs for 12 weeks)? That would be even more consistent. Just a thought...actually just thinking "out loud".
