You didn't receive pictures because you didn't opt to receive emails in HTML format. You must have checked off the text only choice...

I will see if I can fix it for you!

Zoaelite 05-09-2009 03:21 PM

Hmm

I'm going for Acropora Aculeus or some sort of bonsi, taking a very wild guess and am going to say some sort of branching Cyphastrea. We would need Greg for a real positive ID though.

KPG007 05-11-2009 03:26 AM

I probably paid way too much, but it's very unique. I'm getting a nice collection of your "limited" corals, Ian, but it's getting hard on the wallet.....

Those purple Gorg's are amazing! You will most certainly like them! You need to strip off the bottom half inch to the core, then use putty to mount them to a rock.

don't putty over the flesh.

I bought it as a brown blob. It took about 4-5 months to color up, and almost a year to show any growth.

Funny thing, I didn't think much of it, and placed a colony in front of it! So I never really see it.

Hmm,

There are some minor similarities but they are different. The piece that sold has different growth patterns and the color is uniform from the bottom up.

Interesting none the less.......
