Pazil 04-26-2009 12:33 AM

Pazil 04-26-2009 12:57 AM

Come on Greg... your gonna give bad luck here... SAY IT!!!!

GO FLAMES GO!!!!

Mrfish55 04-26-2009 01:34 AM

Kippers on his game only 3 goals in 1:49  better luck next game

Mrfish55 04-26-2009 01:36 AM

go flames go.............................golfing!!

Pazil 04-26-2009 01:36 AM

3 goals and three penalties...... can't blame kipper for everything... talk about a melt down early... still lots of game left.

mseepman 04-26-2009 01:43 AM

God I hope that they can pull it out here. It would be a great series to see Calgary send Vancouver packing. Watching Chicago do it wouldn't be nearly as much fun!!:twised:

THAT'S OPTIMISM! Good for you:wink:! Wish I could say I was hopeful....but I will cheer anyway! GO FLAMES!

Lance 04-26-2009 02:00 AM

Well, that was a pretty "crappy" effort! Most lopsided period of the series. I guess the Flames are afraid of playing Vancouver in the next round.

my2rotties 04-26-2009 02:47 AM

The game is going so badly, my husband changed the channel...

Pazil 04-26-2009 02:48 AM

Not looking good.....

Treebeard 04-26-2009 03:53 AM

A very sad effort! The entire team sucked all the way from Kipper to Iggy.

Pardy was the only one who showed up to play. He made the goal happen and he tried to fight some one way out of his league.

Very frustrating as a fan when you have a team sport and they all show no effort.

Treebeard 04-26-2009 04:01 AM

I will agree with that! He was the only guy who showed any spirit tonight.

Edmonton Eskimo 04-26-2009 05:22 AM

for the lames it's quite simple no kipper no winner!!!! GO ANYBODY BUT CALGARY!!!!!

digital-audiophile 04-26-2009 01:44 PM

That was just sad.

Tom R 04-26-2009 03:08 PM

I think that these last 5 playoff games have been just a recap of the Flames season.

On one night they can beat anyone and look like Champions.

and

On another night they couldn't beat a PeeWee team.

It has been a long and frustrating season for you Flames fans starting with the season opener.

Stay tuned to see which team shows up for game 6.

Lamers eh? That is SO original! By the way, how are those Oilers doing in the playoffs?

That is the truth.... I just think they did not show up at all last night... Hopefully game 6 will be a different story.

Rbacchiega 04-26-2009 04:20 PM

Eric Nystrom showed up yesterday...lots of hussle. What the hell was with Jokenen though? I mean really?!

It'll be interesting to see what team shows up Monday though

digital-audiophile 04-26-2009 04:23 PM

Well.. the flames better show up tomorrow.... I would hate to have to get up and leave the game half way through!

my2rotties 04-26-2009 05:26 PM

Well somebody has a little grudge don't they? At least Calgary made it this far...

Calgary's defence has been weak all year and its really showing now.I'll be betting large on chicago next game.

I agree. Regehr is a great when healthy, but Phaneuf has had an off year and the rest of the blueliners aren't much IMO.

Treebeard 04-26-2009 09:41 PM

I am not making excuses for the big guns on the team, but I have hunch that Langkow, Bourke and Conroy are playing injured.

Doug 04-26-2009 10:40 PM

An Oilers fan giving the Flames fans a hard time is like the commercial with the two ladies are shopping and at the checkout she get her small refund for whatever promotion it was. The other lady said yes, but you only got two dollars back and she said, yes, what did you get back.

Edmonton Eskimo 04-27-2009 12:23 AM

I am happy we are on the golf course as that started the change that this team has needed for some time now. The upside of the oilers is we are a few pieces away from contending whereas the flames seem to have all the pieces but seem to fall short year after year, must be very frustrating:) And let's be realistic here flames fans and oiler fans are supposed to give each other the gears, it's all part of the game.

blaster 04-27-2009 12:38 AM

The coaching change will help the oilers next year.

Ha Ha Ha! You guys just get by the Hawks 'cuz we want you in round 2.

Edmonton Eskimo 04-27-2009 01:42 AM

39 years, ouch!! I guess we are almost half way there.

dsaundry 04-27-2009 05:18 PM

....I am a Bruins fan, I have put up with under achieving teams for many years...finally a good looking team....don't think anybody from the west will take them in 7.....finally a year to cheer loud:lol::lol::lol:.

Treebeard 04-27-2009 06:20 PM

No Phaneuf tonight. This team is running on 3 cylinders! It will take a miracle to pull off a win tonight.

Yes please!

I really, really, really want the Canucks to play the Flames instead of the Hawks next round! I don't see that happening but for the first time in my life, I want the Flames to win a game or two!
