Oh The Stupid Things I Do When I get Bored...

I don't think you have enough pets!
|
Yep, looks like you were pretty bored.
|
Sure enough, these were done about 10 minutes before a client walked in and I tattooed them for 2.5 hours....that was fun
|
LMAO! Wow you have some serious balls! And yet...DON'T.
Those are clever lol. Your hands are like the bat utility belt of the hand-signs world. |
that's the idea! A finger for every feeling...wait, that sounded wrong in so many ways, scratch that.
The idea is to eventually have mini-sleeves....Sort of. The only other hand tattoos I'm planing are the actual backs of my hands (not for a long LONG while), a red flag with "BANG" on the inside (palm side) of my left index finger and then on the inside of the palm/wrists "too much" on the right and "Time" on the left so that when I show the person they read it as "Too much time"...and it'll be on my hands....get it?! |
Bet those feel lovely when you're working in your tank shortly after. I have a weird habit of chewing a few of my knuckles to the point of cracking them open and that certainly SMARTS in the saltwater.
|
yeah, it sucked. But it seems to heal them quicker (at least when I got BONAFIDE on the tops of the fingers...)
Realistically, this will fade/fall out relatively quickly because of all the crap we put our fingers through. In and out of tanks, pockets and for me, tight gloves for when I'm working, so they won't be that black for long |
Now you just need to remember what finger you need to put up to express yourself. Don't want the wrong one for the moment.
|
LMAO ...that is simply awesome
|
thanks Mark.
Apparently Lindsay Lohan has "SHH" on her finger...which now makes me want to lob mine off...but mine does have a drop shaddow..and I'm infinately cooler than she, so I should be fine LOL |
Wow! Just wow.
|
Very creative!! Haha, got a good morning chuckle out of it.
Just curious as to if you work out of a shop, or your home?? |
Is it just me, or does everyone hate Lindsay Lohan? LOL I liked 'Mean Girls'...
Anyhow, nice... so when they fade you'll just go over them again? I need to get my legs redone... I've been talking about it for years though, doubt I'll spend any money on touch-ups when I can spend money on more tattoos! Oh, and my aquariums =P |

Open wound, BBP, ABP. Rule of thumb is two weeks of healing before tattooing a client if you have tattooed your hands or have an open wound of any type. I hope this is well recieved as it's not meant as anything other than a great piece of usefull info. |

interesting though, and realistically it makes sense... Thanks for the heads up Gary |

Things are a changin' every day FFS. It's tough to keep up sometimes. |
ugh, I know what you mean. It was suggested that realistically you should have clothes that are worn at the shop and ONLY at the shop, that can be cleaned/disinfected with ease between every tattoo.
Even though I get teased for it from boss (think old biker dude) I'm starting to wear full arm sleeve protectors as well as masks and aprons. I get right in there when I tattoo (my face gets fairly close to the client) and like to rest my arms especially when it's a larger tattoo I'm doing. On a side note....do you work in the inudstry? Seem to know quite a bit... |

I've been in and out of the industry since I was a kid. Done my first tattoo when I was 16 and I'm 43 now. I still tattoo and have a killer little studio at home that surpasses all requirements. I do just enough to keep me intrested. Del has no room to laugh at you or bug you. He he. Good chatting with you Randi, maybe I'll stop by the shop at some point and have a coffee with you. :) Gary. |
