Looking for a used Aquafuge/CPR Medium or Large. Let me know if you have one for sales.

Thank you:wink:

Don't mean to pop your balloon.

I have the larger Aquafuge II Large for a year now. Its hangs on the back of the tank but supported by a shelf attached to the wall to help support the weight of the water - 50lbs worth.

The area which hangs on the tank is BULGING ! Yup BULGING. If not supported, it would have fallen off months ago.

have you thought of other options ??

Just sharing my experience with a fellow aquarist.

Wanted CPR refugium

Hello,
thank you for the feedback on the large CPR refugium. I might try to do this another way. My tank is in a wall with fish room behind it. I have a fair amount of space.

I will research this a little bit further:lol:

I have a large CPR on my 50 gallon tank. My tank is drilled in 3 places. The fuge has no bulging and does not need a shelf for support.

Wow... Thank you. Maybe Byee refugium is defective. Maybe something to consider.

I also have the CPR CS102 and it also have a bit of a bow on the side furtherest away from the tank.

Hmmm.........

FBNitro 04-02-2009 03:26 AM

The front of my 10 gallon bows, nothing hanging on that. I think it's probably normalish.

Refugium

Here are the picture of the refugium. I was unable to set it up on the back of the tank so it's on the side of the tank. Hopefully this thing will be crawling with pods in no time:mrgreen:

I just need to buy the proper light for it. I will just use my coralife 24" 50/50 for now.

don.ald 04-02-2009 01:47 PM

great addition. jl sells custom lights for these. (as you prob. already know)

belzebuth 04-02-2009 01:56 PM

Yes. I will probably stop by today to pick one up.
