nice video steve. i've never actually seen a mantis eat

you know, I probably could with this one.. he has never wacked at the feeding stick at all nor has he nailed any of the snails or hermits in the tank.. been a gentle mantis all around. but I would need a few more bottles of courage befor I could try that :eek:

I don't know if it is a trend laitly.. when I built my stand over a year ago the intended use of the bottom tank was for a mantis.. just took me a lont time to find one.

I think the fasination is with the inteligence they have..
