wierd sand thing
 

I noticed in my sand long threadlike red,which I thought were some type of worm,but when I moved my cleaning magnet past them they seem to originate from one thing,does anybody know what it could be,the color is a bright red.

Spagettie worms?... hard to say wihout pic

beneficial scavenger....drop some food onto it and watch it pull it in :)

Spaghetti worms are greyish not red.

I know what worms you are referring to, and they are common, and harmless. I can't ever remember their name though. They are thin like thread right?

Spaghetti worms come in MANY colours.
I have grey, orange, pink, red and black ones in my tank.
I dug them up, they are all the same.

Thats for sure. I'm just glad I aint got one of them 10ft long bristle worms. Not much freak me out. But alas, I hate Spiders and worms with many legs. I even hate them crabs that look like spiders...........

I couldn't agree more with everything you just said. Those crabs that look like spiders freak me the heck out. Yuck. I don't even like having a black brittle starfish in my tank...
