Did you get any of the Aussie Zoa's?

Elliot

Chaloupa 03-04-2009 05:26 PM

nope, I got the Enigma, Belle, UFO, and the Nuclear Green Paly

All colors are fantastic..however I thought the NG Paly would be a larger polyp.....fantastic nonetheless.....

The colours are fantastic! And that enigma was a real steal for $15 - huge frags and really colourful. Also, those NG's are full size in my system, then again I run 400W halides. With a little less light I imagine the will get even larger for you........ever more fantastic

I also run 400w halides...but have it at the bottom....I just wish I had ordered more now....the Enigma was a WICKED steal.....VERY VERY happy with it!!!

lngrhaul 03-04-2009 07:57 PM

I'm picking mine up from Shelley today - soooooo excited to see them.

Did Dave ship to Shelley and up Island?

wickedfrags 03-04-2009 08:18 PM

I would recommend keeping the NG on the bottom, that is where I keep my colony.

I considered chopping those Enigma zoa frags down in! Glad I didn't though, thing they were all nicely grown onto the disks....

Your very welcome Sarah.. dang Christy got 2 more "HUGE's" than I did!

Im happy with my enigma frag too. The zoa that was the reason for my ordering arrived as just a tiny bit of rock with no sign of a single polyp, so it must have rotted in the bag. Which is quite dissapointing as it was the only frag available of that zoa, and the only thing I was interested in ordering. Wicked wont give me a refund even tho that zoa is no longer available but is giving me a credit. I dont plan on ordering again so I will be offering the credit for sale, discounted of course. So if anyone out there wants a $30 Wicked credit first $20 gets it.

HA HA HA.........

What frag was it that you ordered that melted? That's sad and very disappointing!

Borderjumper 03-04-2009 09:44 PM

It was the lemony-snicket. It turns out the origanal frag that was listed that I purchased died before the order was shipped, so Dave cut another one and shipped it instead. I dont know the time frame but Im thinking it was just too freshly cut and rotted. It happens, I just wish I had been informed that frag that I bought had died, as it was a "only one available" frag. I would have canceled ot picked another if I had known. No biggie.. its not like I don't have any zoa's. LOL

wickedfrags 03-04-2009 10:22 PM

Agreed, and for coordinating the order so well. Also thanks to Shelley for receiving the shipment.

Wicked does not refund DOA, no reflection on you at all. This is the policy for various reasons which I am sure you can appreciate, why I took the time to clealy outline this on the site. Purchase the $30 credit from Shelley for $20 and I will make it a $50 credit towards your future order!

When the original frag died, well I fragged you a new piece 3 days (+/-) before I shipped, honestly it never crossed my mind that I should contact the buyer about this.

Ummm send me $20! LOL

wickedfrags 03-04-2009 11:05 PM

hmmm, wonder who that could be

I looked at that pic you sent, everything looks ok to me. The exterior of this zoa is naturally rather dark. Sloughing of the exterior skin happens from time to time with most zoas, perhaps this is occurring due to shipping stress. As this was fragged more than an week before shipping, I am pretty confient it will pull through....at least as far as I can tell from the picture.

Its not rather dark.. its black LOL. Rick will be back on the 9th I think, so he will be in touch with you then. I did want it on record for him within the guarentee time frame.

wickedfrags 03-05-2009 12:29 AM

Good picture by the way. Looks comparable to some other large zoas when closed. There is no white anyway...I am sure by the time he gets back it will be clear what is going on with this frag, just have him contact once he returns if there is a problem.
