Woah, that will be very very cool...I think you may have to supply a breathing tube for that fish...and you may not be able to put many corals in around her.....

PoonTang 12-11-2008 01:01 AM

Are you really selling Mermaid's now?

Lance 12-11-2008 01:02 AM

I didn't know mermaids wore slippers?

rocketlily 12-11-2008 01:13 AM

Will this be your Valentine's special?

Skimmerking 12-11-2008 01:42 AM

Snappy that is pretty strong tape to hold the tank together...

Parker 12-11-2008 01:42 AM

Looks awsome, I've been following your thread over at RC.

Holy Crap!!

Greg,

I just read through your RC thread, WOW! Congrats on this new tank. So do you trade repairing your vette's interior for frags? anyhoo, awesome tank looking forward to seeing it set up.

Cheers!
Rattler

Snappy 12-11-2008 05:41 AM

Thanks everyone for the laughs and good wishes.

Thanks Rattler, My interior was done a few years ago but there is always something that needs to be tweaked on a sting ray.
Do you do vette work for frags?

andestang 12-11-2008 05:48 AM

This should be one nice build. Putting something like this together never seems to go quick enough. Good luck with it :)

Trigger Man 12-11-2008 05:54 AM

This is going to be one nice tank when it is all done. I remember you telling me about it months ago when I was buying some frags from you, but reading the RC thread really put into perspective all the work involved.

Snappy 12-11-2008 07:38 PM

Thanks for the well wishes

ElGuappo 12-11-2008 08:07 PM

WOW . cant wait to see it once its running.

Pan 12-11-2008 08:11 PM

Woohoo more corals for the rest of us too :)

Snaz 12-11-2008 08:27 PM

Nice hitchhiker

I hope you keep this thread updated too, I look forward to watching the build.

I'd like to know how you recognized it so easily... I use it to grease my skimmer collection cup o-ring when I take it off for cleaning.

MikeP 12-13-2008 05:57 AM

Nice to see your making progress Greg. :)

lastlight 12-13-2008 06:44 AM

I recognized Gary's handiwork as soon as I saw the tank. He did a great job on my old 392 gallon as well. I'm assuming he built on site for you as well?

Your corals are gonna LOVE you!

Snappy 12-13-2008 06:59 AM

I meant the vasoline not the tank:lol:

lastlight 12-13-2008 07:04 AM

I was avoiding your question =)
