FS-Coral Beauty

Another fish I don't want to see go but need to. This fish has some of the most beautiful colours I have ever seen in a dwarf angel but is somewhat mean to smaller or like sized fish! He has bullied my small Green Spotted Puffer enough that I need to find him a new home. It would be ideal with larger fish that he cannot bully but can stand his ground with.

About 3" Eats anything. Did not nip corals but I only had it in with softies. Can't say what he would do with sps.

$30

That is a really nicely colored angel.
I'm almost thinking about risking him in my reef...

What other fish do you have?

He seemed fine with all corals but if you have sps, I don't know for sure. I don't want to tell you he will be fine and then have him nip stuff.

I do have sps and I am planning on getting a lot more.
I have 5 Chalk Bass and 3 Gramma Loretos for fish in my 72 and thats it.
You're fu manchu looks so nice too.
I am almost thinking of setting up another tank (a fowler) just to be able to have fish like that.

Personally I wouldn't risk the Coral Beauty with the Chalk Bass. I am pretty sure it will harass them and Chalk Bass jump...so maybe not a good combo.

This fish was in my tank for over a year before I sold it to GreenSpottedPuffer. Very nice looking fish and he never nipped any corals in my tank and there were LPS and Softies in it.

Yup I have the same and it has not nipped anything either. I do have gorgonians too that it left alone.

I have my doubts that it would nip sps but I can't say for sure.

i had a rusty angel and tobbacco bass in the same rsm 34 gallon and they got along swimingly . they were both introduced around the same time. never saw the rusty angel pic at any coral. i had no sps at this point. tho.

Whatigot 11-06-2008 06:29 PM

meh...
I wouldn't risk it.
I put a yellow tail damsel and a black axil chromis in my tank a while back and that was the lesson learned.
Once a fish is in, it ain't coming out of my tank without destroying all the rockwork.

I just get somewhat optimistic when I see fish of this calibre.

Will also trade for frags. Still available.

Its not as big as it looks in the picture. I have seen much bigger but it is VERY healthy. Beautiful colours.

I don't think so. Sorry...I kind of feel bad saying no but I have never shipped before and would prefer to have him picked up.
