Interested in Flame Wrasse. Any plans of a trip to Calgary any time soon?

howdy20012002 10-29-2008 03:39 PM

Looking at your previous posts, you certainly sell alot of rare fish cheaply (below wholesale cost in fact) as well as lot of equipment.

why are you selling them?

has anyone actually ever bought anything from this person before?

just curious

Yeah, these prices that you're quoting don't sound right. Liveaquariua.com, an American-based online vendor, lists Crosshatch triggers at $549/699 for female/male respectively. Smaller Black Tangs command a VERY high market price ($600-800).

EmilyB 10-29-2008 07:39 PM

I think he got those prices off a menu.....

It's just that the prices you're listing are WELL below market value. If I offered to sell you an Audi R8 for 20K, you might get suspicious :)

When can I come pick it up?

Aquattro 10-29-2008 08:02 PM

This is RDR trying to promote business and probably wholesale prices of fish on the beach of origin.

Same as an acro colony is $4 US on the beach. By the time it gets here, all costs in, plus losses, the cost jumps 10 fold.

^^^^^^
True that

As for the 40 - 60 fish a box. Ive seen some larger fish such as triggers come in a box all by themselves. That sure would boost the price of the fish considerably by time it got here.

PS. RDNano if your just going to bash someone elses prices on LS maybe your better off not posting at all.

No one is upset...just confused. Maybe we should move this discussion out of this Buy/Sell/Trade thread?

Absolutely.

Aquattro 10-29-2008 08:25 PM

No, really, no more of this discussion in this posters for sale thread. If you want to buy, contact poster. If you want to chat, make a new thread. Thanks
