My Tank in Turkey

Just thought I'd share this with my friends on Canreef. A while back I was approached by the editor for a new "reef keeping online magazine" in Turkey who asked if they could feature my reef for their first issue. They won't have the english page up for another week or so but here's the links to their site and the article.
This is their main page:

and this is the tank of the term page:

Geez, collect a couple thousand individual colonies of SPS and suddenly you get fame and notoriety. Who knew?!

Congrats on yet another feature Greg. :)

Congrats, looks amazing. Did you know that when my tank grows up, it wants to be a "Snappy".

Thanks Tony. It's interesting how things have gone after my tank was featured in "Advanced Aquarist online magazine" in March 2008. There was a thread about my tank on a site in Spain and a few months ago I googled my name and found the same sort of thing on some other sites including one in South Africa. It's strange when you find pictures of your aquarium in foriegn countries. You see it, scratch your head and say" hey that's my tank they're talking about". With the internet as Disney said 'it's a small world after all'.

Thanks Chris. I am anxious to get my new tank going but at the same time a bit nervous.

Thanks Susan, if that is what it wants then just keep buying my frags every month and before too long that's what it will be.

You've really done a great job on your tank, now I look at my tank and see that there is plenty more for me to do. Thanks for the insperation. As soon as I get off the search for rare colorful zoos, I know who to call for great looking SPS.

That is too cool.

Thanks you guys. Apparently Turkey has quite a few hobbyists but a poor success rate with keeping livestock alive. The originators of the forum thought if they could get an educational and informative site like Canreef or Reef Central in their own language it would be a big help in helping the hobby there and increasing their survival rates. I am happy to help them out and play this small role in showing what can be achieved with a little education and proper care. I thought the article on fragging zoos was pretty good, even if I can't read it the pictures tell the story very well.
