Sorry for the stupid question, but what kind of coral is the ORANGE GROVE A.KIMBEENSIS?

Thanks

No such thing as a stupid question.
Acropora Kimbeensis is the latin name that I believe the coral to be and Orange Grove is the name I gave it because when you stand back and look it has the appearance of an orange trees with the orange tips and green background. Under some lighting the tips look red so in that case it would be a "cherry orchard" Unfortunately I have never been able to capture it's true look on camera, but trust me when I say it is sweet and one of my favorite corals in my reef.

Darn, I was just thinking of ordering!

Greg, from your website under acclimation...

"4 Do not remove coral from the original plug when mounting into your reef. "

Does this item void the warranty? I cut all frags off of the plugs they come on, much easier and more natural looking when attaching permanently.

Thx.

I take a common sense approach so it depends on the situation.
To be honest if someone has experience and knows what they are doing it's not a problem but I don't recommend dismounting for sps newbies. I recommend that the frag be given time to become acclimated to the new tank for a while before dismounting. 10 days is a great guarantee and the coral being taken out and remounted onto something else can cause some stress and possible RTN if it's not done properly. I would suggest people waited the 10 days and if it lives to that point it should be fine and able to handle the stress of remounting and being handled.

Thanks Greg, certainly no harm in waiting 10 days.
