No spiders or I can't look at this thread

hehe mice are fine (yikes, poor mousey!) I was just thinking of a thread started by someone here that had a bunch of spider closeups. Cripes it freaked me out. I never watched Arachnaphobia but the commercials for it gave me nightmares for ages (same with the Jaws movie). Actually, I'll delete the part about snakes, they're not so bad and some are rather cool looking. But I gotta stick with the no spiders thing <shiver>

While these are no where near as fan-tab-ulous as the others they are some of my personal favs.

Those I slapped together in PS, but I can take a multiple exposure photograph with as many frames as I choose with as much time delay as I'd like, but the problem is the moon keeps moving and I don't have a fancy auto tracker like they use in astronomy.
I really wish I had a good 600mm lens, lunar shots are amazing with that bad boy. And the f/stop doesn't even matter with those kind of shots. Decent lens is about 9-10 grand lol. |

Great shots by the way, I really like the ones from work! |
Haahaa, well if you wanna get technical the 400mm f/2.8 is about 8 grand lol!
But it's a f/2.8 and would be much more usefull than a 600mm f/4. All I'd have to do is throw a teleconverter and there is an 800mm f/5.6 woooweee! I think the 70-200 f/2.8 is much more practical right now, and a teleconverter with it can make a 400mm f/5.6 as well! An that would only be about 2100 bucks. Little side note, that flare stack was blowing off between 9-12 million cubic meters of gas a day.... insane. Louder than any jet I've heard, the whole lease shook. I'll see if I can upload some more work shots for ya! |
