Thanks Catherine. The first is A.Valida in the foreground and A.aculeus with the pinker colour. Yes the last two are Deep water. A.granulosa & what I believe to be A.caroliniana.

Thanks Lance & Tony as well.

michika 06-16-2008 09:06 PM

Do deep water pieces grow similarly to non-deep water ones? I absolutely love the bright green one, A.caroliniana?

yes & no. I actually bought that piece as a "rainbow birdnest" but I would say it's pretty much green.

No on the 1st and I just sold out on the last one. I will have more available in another month or so and it is on my website.

Mikee 09-21-2008 10:01 PM

I am still waiting for my purple digi to color up. Wondering if you have it placed at the top, middle or lower? the tips seem to be turning purple now but maybe too much flow? or light?

Mike I have mine at the top. It requires a lot of light for it to retain the purple colour so give it all you've got.
Mine looks like this picture under hqi 250 mh.

I have some zoas available but mostly sps

Trigger Man 09-22-2008 04:23 AM

So my faves are Man of steel and Sunshine Zoas, but I would like any brightly colored ones if you have any. For colors I like it would be Blues, purples, bright greens, or yellows, pinks, (prefering multi colored Zoas) so if you have any of that please get back to me.

Mikee 09-22-2008 11:37 PM

Thanks Greg, I have mine at the top i think i just need to give it a bit more time..it is turning purple slowly..maybe i just need more patience :p. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours :).

Thanks Sean. I wouldn't call it a Bonzai although others might. To me it's a purple A.Valida with green polyps. The name "bonzai" is pretty much a marketing gimmick. Every now and then I have a frag of that Batunai available so remind when you place your next order next week.
