I'm looking for 6 Bangaii Cardinals, preferably tank raised. I am willing to pay shipping if somone has some.

Oceans in Calgary had them on the weekend. I am unsure if they ship or not. I think they were around $25 each, FYI.

Riverfront in calgary also had a bunch on sat. they were $18 if i remember correctly. they willl ship to i believe.

$18? Wow, that's cheap!

Hey, if you're looking for a breeding pair from your group, you'd be best off buying each one from a different source so that you don't get siblings breeding.

"Normal" price for Bangaiis is $25-30. It was probably the PJs then for the $18.

ElGuappo 04-08-2008 04:29 PM

I was wondering if that might be a problem or not. Do you have any information on this?

I am wondering about this, too. With freshwater I had F1 electric yellows and the whole idea was to breed them to each other to strengthen the line. It is called "line breeding". I had no idea this might be different for saltwater fish.

That would depend...you don't know if their parents were already siblings (likely). I just wouldn't risk it, it's not like they're hard to find.
