Road Trip

Myka 04-01-2008 02:19 PM

That's what I was thinking! It's even a Saturday, so it's totally doable. Not sure I'd have any frags to sell by that time, but I sure am good at buying them! :D

wetcoast 04-01-2008 02:38 PM

Buyer Definitely
Seller - If I can get my corals sent out from Winnipeg soon enough.

Tom R 04-01-2008 02:56 PM

Hi Bill

I will take them to the auction for you. I may have to high grade them first though.

We'd like to come to trade (as in trading Money for Frags) lol

Do you have to register to come as a buyer?

whatever 04-02-2008 12:04 AM

I'm in as a buyer if I can get the day off. Won't know for sure until much closer to the date. Thanks.

SeaHorse_Fanatic 04-02-2008 12:27 AM

Keri,

If you need a place to crash in town instead of heading right back to the Sunshine Coast, we can probably put you up in our spare bedroom & store your new frags overnight in my frag tank. Just an option instead of a zip-in, zip-out rushed day.

Anthony

Toxik 04-02-2008 12:37 AM

I think I can make it. I need to stock up on corals for my 90gal that is being put together.

Hey thanks for the offer! We're totally used to the zip in and out days tho - tomorrow will be one! - loading up the car with styrofoam boxes and catching an early ferry! Got the routine down pat by now :D we used to stay in town overnight more often before we had SW lol!

I get more excited than a kid in a candy store when we go to the LFS - going to check out what Ocean Aquatics has tomorrow.

Puff 04-02-2008 05:53 AM

any clue roughly what time this thing will go from and until?

im down (90% down at least, things always seem to pop up when i intend to go to these things)

super7 04-02-2008 06:13 AM

I am going to try and be there as a buyer. Birthday is the next day so I might get some funding from family:) early birthday presents.
Also what time as that is a major factor.

sunce_22 04-02-2008 07:13 AM

Me and Smoczek will be there as buyers! This is our first time and we're super excited!

Jason McK 04-02-2008 01:37 PM

The time will be from 12 noon to 4pm.

if that's the case then it definitely increases my chances of being able to come.

noticed some things i can frag while looking at the tank last night. hopefully ill be able to contribute something!

Jason McK 04-02-2008 10:01 PM

It begining to look like there will be a lot of Buyers. We just might have to loosen off some of the frag limits and ensure we move quickly through the auction.

If you are a seller. Start thinking of what you will be bringing and make a list of what you think you will bring. Nothing carved in stone. Even if it's just one piece. e-mail that to reefnetwork@gmail.com as soon as you can. This will help me figure out how many frags we will be looking at.

Thanks
J

I agree, it is 2 days after mine.
Will be there.

Puff 04-02-2008 11:58 PM

how much do frags usually end up selling for?

i just remembered my gf's birthday is a week beforehand...never good for the pocketbook!

Jason McK 04-03-2008 12:04 AM

It can be a huge range from about $7 to $40.

argan 04-03-2008 05:15 AM

softies are welcome?

skylord 04-03-2008 05:21 AM

Softies are welcome.....I would just be sure its what people want. Pulsing Zenia wouldnt be a good choice. Some real nice Zoa's would most likely sell. But let Jason know what you are considering and he will let you know whats good and whats not so good.

sunce_22 04-03-2008 05:26 AM

I may be the only person, but I am looking for some white pulsing xenia!

Keri 04-03-2008 05:34 AM

Yeah... I wouldn't mind a pom pom xenia :)

Jason McK 04-03-2008 05:36 AM

Please if your going to be a seller e-mail your list to reefnetwork@gmail.com

Questions can be PMed to Me, TomR, or Scott (Skylord)

Thanks
J
