I always see adds online for people trying to make a buck selling new GH III for a profit.... on that note, everytime I go to blockbuster in westbank and vancouver as well as EB Games in both cities, they have copies for all 3 consoles in stock...???

Are you looking for just the game or the package with the guitar for the wiimote as well?

I've been looking for that damned game & guitar since November!

Blockbusters, Rogers Video, Futureshop, Best Buy, EB Games, Sears, R' Toys Bust... etc.

or there's always Craigslist where people are asking $160 for it!

i think my brother has one for sale in Drumheller as i think he is sell his whole WII system if you want me to find out PM me.

not for the wii . but the wal mart he works at has 2 guitar but not the game. apparently he says the guitar is harder to get than the wii itself these days.

If you md the LD call to the drumheller walmart im sure they would cinsider shipping to bc for you as they always have trucks going every which way.

Honestly, how far is it to the nearest US city for you? I was in Grand Forks ND 2 weeks ago and they had 6 of them on the shelf.

I suggested to the wife we sell ours to you for cost plus a frag. She hit me with the guitar, now I need a new one too. JK. I suggested it and she emphatically said "NO".

Patience will pay off eventually. I refuse to reward the profiteering on ebay, craigslist, etc. I know it's a free market, and I'm happy for those who profit, but I won't buy in, literally.

you might want to consider skipping guitar hero and going with ROCK BAND anyway. it s the new hype you can get drums guitar mic bass and all that for supposed to blow guitar hero out of the water........

I second the idea of getting Rock Band it rules. Seen alot of copies of Guitar hero III and Rock band for all consoles in the stores in Bellingham,WA. Its really not that far from Chilliwack. Best Buy had them stacked in piles in the aisles.

OK, so I suggested that to my daughter. Response, rolling eyes. Apparently, she's no good at drums, and I should know that, and anyway, RB isn't available for the WII, Dad.:razz:

What's the differance in price (Hero vs Rock band)?

games are about the same cost. but with rock band you can have all instuments including guitar. all the instruments are sold seperatly i think .

RB for Wii will be out in June I have heard..

As for GH.. the HMV in Lloydminster had 3 this morning.. I got one.. who knows if they have any left now...

you can get it for $150-160 now.. I paid 160 for RB on the ps3. Best game ever. Although I like the GH guitar better. too bad its not compatible for the ps3!

I thought that the GH guitar models were compatable with Rock band? I can use my GH guitar with rock band. I own a PS2 however, but that shouldn't matter as rock band supplies the PS2 owners with PS3 peripherals.

My opinion, guitar hero is a bit more fun because it's challenging. Rock Band seems too easy, and I am not as big a fan of the fretboard appearance. That's being picky though..

Come to think of it, I haven't played either game in months. Might have to sell some stuff off again.

the guitar is a bit easier on rockband, but once you are on hard/expert its plenty difficult for me.

The ps3 is the ONLY version that doesn't have compatiblity, they had the software patch written but either sony or harmonix blocked it from being released... some sort of legal thing i think.
