Bags of Saltwaterconnection sand. Availiable Mon Feb, 17th.
 
Hey All, I will post this in the buy/sell forum as well.

I have a pallet of sand comming in from Salt Water Connection on Monday, February 17th.
Some of the bags are spoken for allready but there are more availiable.
So speak up if your intrested in some sand.

Price is same as before when Tony had it-$25.00 a bag and the bags are aprox 35lbs each.

So far I have the following people down for the following amounts.
Seriak- 8bags
Teevee-I can't remember how much you wanted?

how many do you think it would take to fill a 33 or a 45 ? hehe either way i will take 2 for sure but i probably wont have the money tioll next pay check because of my new metal halide :)
also what brand name was the bulb again ?

I used two bags and got a nice sand bed in a 20 gal tank.. I would get 4 bags for yours.. another example is my 94 gal (24"X36" foot print) has a 4" to 6" sand bed from 210 lbs of sand.

reefcentral has a dsb calculator, punch in the footprint of your tank and how many inches of sand you want and it gives you a required weight, based on standard caribsea sand.

I'll put you down for 4 and you can always take 2 if you want.

The bulb is a 175w 10k...um I can't remember who makes it...Hamilton maybe..... I am too lazy to go check :lol:

Total about 48 bags.
That leaves 22 bags left.

Well that's what I thought but it's 6:45pm and no sand delivery yet so probably tommorow. :?
