Maybe I like punishment Christy.....Its still a ghetto. Everything is half done and what is going seems temporary. Guess I should start a real slow thread and maybe by the time I catch up with myself I will feel like something is finished. I have 700g flowing right now...when finished the system will be 900 with the show tank just under 300.

Yes a Solaris. If you look at the sand you can see one of my issues. Shading. A tank this wide either needs a second Solaris or some help somewhere. I may move it forward and add some HO T5s in the back or I was considering a 250 MH on a track. See...I sit around thinking about things like that all day and get nothing done....lol

I don't think there's anything wrong with a little shading. After all, there's shading in the ocean :)

Once the rock work is done correctly then I will play with the light a little more. I tried asking this question at the Solaris web site but they didnt respond. In reading a little from others and responses from Solaris they seem to think 2 lights are in order. But that was before the newest light came out. We shall see.

Yes michika I was/am considering a light mover. After the rock work is done, then I will see if I need to.

Apologies if I've asked you this before (I might have) - is that a doliatus rabbit or a virgatus? Got any closeup pictures?

We did talk about it and I posted a pic for you...lol. Its the one you want. The doliatus I think?

Yeah, sorry, I know I've asked at least a half dozen times everytime I catch a glimpse of either virgatus or doliatus. I should have remembered but I barely remember how many fingers are on my hands some days, especially when I'm at work. I've been waiting for doliatus for almost 2 years! Nobody wants to sell me one or two. :( It's become a bit of an obsession to find them and then remark about how pretty they are when I do see a picture of one. :lol:

agreed, its time to renew the "ban". I demand photos!
