Awesome tank...Congrats..I hope mine looks close to that in a year or so..

Chowder 01-07-2008 04:49 PM

Thanks, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Hey Jason actually took down the frag tank this weekend. Could not control the hair algae in it .

Jason McK 01-07-2008 04:54 PM

Well that's too bad. Where are you going to put all those frags?

J

Chowder 01-08-2008 01:58 AM

Put a temporary frag tray across the back of the tank and took some to OA to get rid of. Mostly digitatas . Kept most of the stuff I wanted to grow out plus have some I can prune in the tank. Most those pictures were taken in November and I have had some decent growth since I hooked up the calcium reactor.

I guess I must have posted my congrats in the wrong thread or something. Anyway I'll try again here. Nice looking tank, well done.

Chowder 01-23-2008 02:15 AM

Great tank Chris. Congrats,on having it featured & rightfully so.

Shows what can be done on a smaller scale. How do you like the pendants. I had a 175w version about 10yrs. ago.

Chowder 01-23-2008 08:52 PM

Thanks Doug. I like the pendents alot. I have not had any problems with them. I have one that is an older version of the reefstar pendant and it rattles a bit and can get a little annoying if your trying to sleep.
