I want to go to MACNA!

Der_Iron_Chef 01-04-2008 01:57 AM

I've done a road trip to Atlanta and back from Calgary. 38 hours each way. That's commitment!

Commitment is right! I would probably go crazy.

I am seriously thinking of going but I also have a wedding in August...... I will probably decide by May (or whenever the discount time is up).

I was at WMC 99 Seattle & WMC 99 in Richmond. Smaller shows but still fun.

Cheers,

Definitely interested but I don't know whats going to happen between now and then, hopefully something good involving me receiving scads of money

Either way what ever happens I will most likely be going. I want to go at least once, even though I know I probably won't be able to bring that much stuff back.

What would you be able to bring home across the border if flying there?
Has anyone been to this meeting before and was it good? Just looking for a little more info...Thanks, Karen

Drygoods and equipment I would assume. Drygoods would be iffy. I think some people have brought livegoods back before, but I'm not sure.

Veng68 01-04-2008 10:34 PM

When I went to WMC in 98' in Seattle I brought back many sample of dried goods like salt, various trace elements (iodine, strontium etc), magazine and books (all freebies) :)

Cheers,
Vic [veng68]

I haven't booked anything yet, I've been lazy, however I will get to it soon. We should have all the canreefers meet up.
