some pics of my fishies
I don't take many good fishie pics, but I got a new clown yesterday. Our saddleback died a few months back. So this new guy is already growing on me.
Also got some good shots of our pajama cardinal. in the baggie from Golds http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2041.jpg claiming a cave for himself http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2050.jpg damsel and clown before damsel attacked clown (damsel has been banished to adidas's sump for a bit) http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2042.jpg our pj cardinal http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2054.jpg clown in his cave... you can see where the damsel got his fins :( http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2087.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2097.jpg |

Might be way off though. :) blue damsel fish confuse me everytime. but i'm sure its one of them :) |
thanks :) Not sure what kind of damsel it is other than blue. It never had a problem with our saddleback clown and it left the pajama cardinal alone for months but it decided to pick on my new clown. So after a few days of banishment we'll bring it back and try it in our tank again. I named the damsel Mr.Grumpy, so if it's female I guess I ought to change that to Mrs.Grumpy.

still not the best pic, but here's a clearer one of just the damsel
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2051.jpg based on the two blue damsel pics I found on liveaquaria.com I'm leaning more towards the blue Devil instead of the fiji one. The Blue devil says females are all blue, males have an orange tail. Since my damsel is 100% blue, I'd say that "he" is in fact a "she" and thusly she'll now be Mrs.Grumpy  I sure do love this damsel though, even if they are a dime a dozen. I'll figure out a way somehow of getting her to be nicer to my clown. |
dam damsels.
i suppose the call them devil fish for a reason. Im definetly steering clear of them in my reef. |
I HAD 4 damsels in my tank at once, and they never caused problems with one another, and two of them were even the same kind.. Since u got a female, you should try to get a mail and see if ya can breed them

90% of damsels are evil :twised: Most of the ones I've seen had to be removed from the main tank because of the damage they did to their tank mates.

the damsel disappeared. from adidas's sump. we think it might have gone into the pump.

had to add this pic
our little clown near his cave (as always) and if you look carefully, you can see our decorator crabs legs on the right side of the cave http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...r/100_2122.jpg |
