Why do you guys get so worked up over this stuff? It IS the lounge, isn't it? Personally, I enjoy reading this stuff.

Because if I wanted to see this kind of crap I'd go to a conspiracy theorist board.

No offense, but that sounds pretty nitpicky to me. Without going into this long tirade on free will, I just want to mention that you have the option to disregard these posts. I'm pretty sure there's a user block function?

As a moderator I don't really have that luxury.

It's just getting too much. I think most members are too polite to say too much about it but the general mood/consensus seems to be negative about so many useless conspiracy theory threads. Now, it's like these are being posted just to annoy people. Sorry, I like Russell, but it's seems like these threads are multiplying exponentially & have absolutely nothing to do with what this Reef board is about.

I second that, unless its a reef conspiracy I don't want to hear about it.

Free speech.....I find them kinda interesting.....but dont really care either way.....

my vote is a thumbs down. There's just so many of them that i dont really feel like seeing. As was mentioned somewhere (cant remember if it was this one or one of the others), there's other forums for this stuff. can-reef. not can-spiracy. i mean honestly, you post enough of these things to warrant your own subsection in the lounge.

I find that if I dont really care about the topic....I dont go in anyways....whether its Reef related or not.....sometimes though curiousity does drag my sorry butt in.

Although thats correct, you can see the aquarists that are not in that line of though, esp. when multiple postings of them occur. The lounge was meant more for subjects mention elsewhere in this or one of the other postings.

If you like these types of threads, and for some reason have a need to post them on an aquarium board :question: , then why not one of the suggested places. See how you do over there. :lol: {thats a general reference, not directed at you Albert. :smile: }
