Just got back into it after I shut down my 10 inch cube for the summer. I decided to go bigger this time

Only been up for about a week... but I took the water and rock and such from my buddies tank who's been holding my stuff for me over the summer

Yeah I was really unhappy with how I set up my rock last time I did a tank so this time I really wanted to try to spend more time on that... cause no matter how much coral is in there you still need some kinda nice rock base to position everything. The piece on the far right is actually like 6 pieces put together. I got a lot more stuff in the tank already... I'll try to post some more pics in the next day or so

where did you find the diy for the zeovit reactor.

ed checkout zeovit.com there is a large thread compiling all the diy zeo reactors... in fact i believe superduperwesman's is in there.

I have a sedra 5000 in the sump

It basically works the exact same as any other full size skimmer just on a smaller scale. The pump I used is a rio 800. The only other difference is instead of using a gate valve on the exit to control the height in the skimmer I just made my own kinda valve with a pipe with a hole cut and a t grinded out like so

I just looked at one... worked out the approx volume I needed based on the zeo-vit info and made one. It's pretty simple just need to get water flowing through the zeo-vit rock and a way to shake it. Some people even go really simple and just put the rock in a filter bag

What kind of lighting is that? What are you going to keep under it?

HOT5's overdriven.
Basically what's in there plus some sps I plan on getting in the nearish future, a clam, some sexy shrimp, a few other small fish like a pistol shimp goby pair, and anything else I see that I like

So I bought a yellow watchman goby and a yellow puffer yesterday, so I guess sexy shrimp are now out

the puffer will be a nice fish for the 3 months you will be able to keep him in there.
