Gauging interest...

I'm shutting down my reef & converting to F/W planted aquaria.
Here's what's left of my livestock:
-small green open brain
-XXXL /show size toadstool (12"-15" across easily)
-strawberry zoo's
-green & orange centered zoo's
-pulsing xenias
-GSP's
-two X-large branching live rock show-sized.
-Fiji LR; I have no idea how much; ranging from medium to rubble sized.
-TONS of livesand
-Yellow Tang
-two captive false Perc's
-shoal of Chromis (x8)
-black cucumber
-lot's of turbo's & assorted snails
I'm open to all reasonable offers.

Keeping them for the new set-up. I'll be selling my Euro-reef though.

Der_Iron_Chef 08-27-2007 05:26 PM

That toadstool is gorgeous.

ponokareefer 08-27-2007 05:31 PM

I'd second on that toadstool. Awesome! If only you were closer.

Sushiman 08-27-2007 05:31 PM

There, check "member's galleries" under Suhiman...

Sushiman 08-27-2007 05:32 PM

The toadstool is a monster, and a real drama queen. This beast must be seen to be appreciated.

ponokareefer 08-27-2007 07:22 PM

Oh Wow! That toadstool looks awesome in the full tank shot.

My wife is amazing!

After much deliberation, my wife has convinced me not to shut down my reef but set up another system for my Discus fetish.
To all those guys out there with spouses /girlfriends that bust your chops about your aquariums, $ucks to be you!
Thank you to all the interest but the sale of my stock is now off.

Midknight 08-28-2007 07:53 PM

Oh what a tease.
Well you should at least frag some of them beautiful zoos.

I second that!

Sushiman 08-29-2007 05:50 AM

That can be arranged! Oh yes, the reef gods punished me for my mischief; at 10min to 7 tonight I broke my overflow quite sucessfully resulting in a mad dash to J&L all the way from Mission. I made it with minutes to spare!
My lesson learned, I promise to behave, for the rest of August at least.

Hey I got something better. While drilling an access hole in my stand I drilled through the wall and the hot bit went through the wall of a plastic sump. It started to leak badly so I plugged with my finger. I looked around and could find anything to plug it with ( anything with in arms length ) So I sat there for 5 minutes thinking about this. Then I spyed a pencil . I was just able to reach it. So I save 5 gallons of water on my floor...I guess that is what pencils are good for other than learning.
