lets aim for evening July 25th? Its pretty flexible.

not sure where to have it. at this point it doesn't matter to me, besides I dont' know of many restaurants anyways. If the last one was ok for everyone we could have it at the same restaurant or somewhere in surrey. Theres a good chinese place near where we were before (at least I think its near there).

Okay...whatever works. They did have room for at the last place we went.

I wasn't really sure about that it was sort of planned when you weren't going to do the BBQ. Would you rather just do the BBQ/Frag swap on its own? We can do another dinner next month :biggrin:

I suppose the number of RSVPs you get provides the answer. For me, I'll pass on dinner on the 25th.

...but there's only a handful of people who indicate they are coming to my place on the 28th, so... I don't know.

Well, what you see here is the group for the dinner. Not exactly a massive turnout. I'll reschedule the dinner for sometime mid August :biggrin:

Is there any way at all it could be planned for a weekend?? Or is it usually on weeknights? I'd love to meet more people than I have on the board without having to go to a bunch of places to "happen chance" run into them (does that make sense?)

I plan them for a weeknight (well this one was being done by me but the others weren't ) because I'm back on the island on weekends :razz:

Theres untameds BBQ/Frag swap coming up on the 28th. Thats a saturday.

Theres nothing been planned farther than that except for postponing the next dinner until August :biggrin:

that's what I thought Christy...that's ok...I am hoping to go to Untamed's house....BUT we are going to English Bay that night for the fireworks so may not be able to...oh well! Thanks anyway

well I'm not the only one doing the planning and I would assume that the weekend is a bit less busy for most. I'm sure there will be another weekend meeting/tour/something coming up soon :biggrin:

Going to the fireworks does not interfere with going to Untamed's bbq because you don't have to head there until 7 or 8pm at the earliest. The fireworks start at 10pm, so you could easily do both.

The Dinner on July 25 is OFF. I will be coming to Brad's BBQ on the 28th.
